Film locations in Mġarr (Gozo)

Mġarr is Gozo's harbour and ferry port, part of Għajnsielem. Most visitors arrive here, and in The Madame Blanc Mysteries it's where Jeremy and Judith moor their boat.

Mġarr is the gateway to Gozo. The Gozo Channel ferries from Ċirkewwa and the fast ferries from Valletta both dock here. Above the harbour sit the neo-Gothic Lourdes chapel and the parish church of Għajnsielem, and the waterfront has fishing boats, a marina and seafood restaurants. Because nearly every visitor passes through, it's a handy first stop for anyone following the screen trail. The Madame Blanc Mysteries uses the harbour as the mooring for Jeremy and Judith's boat, and The Good Ship Murder shows Mġarr in establishing views for its Gozo episode. Buses 301, 303 and 323 link the ferry terminal with Victoria.
