Mġarr ix-Xini is a fjord-like inlet on Gozo's south coast between Xewkija and Sannat, the main location of Angelina Jolie's By the Sea, shot there in 2014.

Mġarr ix-Xini is a narrow, steep-sided inlet on Gozo's south coast, between the villages of Xewkija and Sannat, with a small beach at its head and a 1661 watchtower at its mouth. Once a harbour used by the Knights, it is now a quiet swimming and snorkelling spot, reached by a single narrow road.
