Jurassic World Dominion filming locations in Malta
Jurassic World Dominion (2022), directed by Colin Trevorrow, shot its Malta sequences in late summer 2020, sending raptors through Valletta's St George's Square, side streets and Victoria Gate, and across rooftops in Birgu.
Where was Jurassic World Dominion filmed in Malta?
Malta plays itself in Jurassic World Dominion: the island is where an illegal dinosaur market operates. Filming ran from late August into September 2020. Because of pandemic travel limits the lead actors did not come to Malta; stunt doubles shot on location and Valletta's streets were lidar-scanned so Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard could be added later. Locations include St George's Square, St Ursula and St Nicholas streets, the roof of Our Lady of Liesse church, Victoria Gate, St Lawrence's Church in Birgu and the Birgu waterfront under Fort St Angelo.
