On 18 September 2016 the crew moved to Malta for a two-day shoot in the water tanks at Kalkara, now Malta Film Studios. The footage became the opening of the Christmas special that launched season two: an underwater sequence with the eight 'sensates' floating together in clear blue water, set to music.
