About Mdina Main Gate
Built in 1724 for Grand Master Vilhena, the baroque Main Gate is the entrance to Mdina from the stone bridge over the dry moat. In Game of Thrones it was dressed as one of the gates of King's Landing. The bridge in front gives you the classic straight-on view of the arch; come early to have it to yourself.
