The Madame Blanc Mysteries filming locations in Malta
The Madame Blanc Mysteries, Sally Lindsay and Sue Vincent's Channel 5 crime comedy that began in 2021, is set in a fictional French village but filmed almost entirely on Gozo, with Sannat and then Għarb playing Sainte Victoire.
Where was The Madame Blanc Mysteries filmed in Malta?
The show was meant to film in France, but the producers found it too complicated and Channel 5 pointed them to Gozo. Sally Lindsay fell for Sannat's village square, which became Sainte Victoire for series one, with the square closed off and French cars brought in. From series two the village moved to Għarb. Victoria plays the market town where Jean's antique shop sits, Mġarr Harbour is where Jeremy and Judith moor their boat, and series three was shot on Gozo and in Valletta using Malta's 40% cash rebate.
