Cospicua, or Bormla, is the largest of Malta's Three Cities at the head of Dockyard Creek, and its old Dock No. 1 played the 'Beirut' dockside in Steven Spielberg's Munich (2005).

Bormla sits at the inland end of Dockyard Creek between Birgu and Senglea, wrapped in the massive Cottonera Lines. For centuries it was a dockyard town, first for the Knights' galleys and later for the Royal Navy. Its first dry dock has been turned into a waterfront square, and its quays and old dockyard buildings give filmmakers an industrial port look that is hard to find elsewhere on the island.
