Created by Audrey Dalli Brincat, this Maltese-language drama ran for two seasons and 48 episodes. In 2015 a businesswoman renovating a bar finds the 1957 diary of Lydia, a young woman who escapes her gilded life for a lover on Strait Street, back when the street was the Grand Harbour's red-light district. Filming took place mainly on Strait Street itself and at Casa Rocca Piccola on Republic Street, plus Villa Blye in Paola. About 112,000 people watched, roughly a quarter of Malta.
